Innovations & Enhancements

  • Design and build of structural steel platform and stairwell alongside building façade to remove/deliver MRI machines due to buildings slab capacity/to reduce impact of material movement and site access to surrounding clinical areas.

  • Highly technical electrical design to work within the magnetic field

  • Installation of additional infrastructure including air conditioning systems, ATS and distribution boards to support new equipment

Environmental & Safety Management

  • Coordination and facilitation of specialist training and inductions for all site personnel and contractors regarding magnetic field and radiation safety

  • Screening of workers when entering to area to ensure no magnetic items entered the MRI environment

  • Stringent cleaning measures and consultation with infection control department to ensure clinical areas remained safe

  • Comprehensive and well managed/coordinated/consulted DISST processes and submissions
