Lunetta Restaurant fit-out project nominated as finalist in 2025 Master Builders ACT Awards

Shaw Building Group is excited to share our Lunetta - Red Hill project has been nominated as a finalist in the 2025 Master Builders Association ACT Asset Construction Hire Awards.

The dual restaurant fit-out, completed in late 2024, has been recognised has a finalist in the ‘Commercial or Retail Fitout, Refurbishment or Alteration $ 1 million to $ 5 Million’ category.

The revitalised Lunetta & Lunetta Trattoria has seen the iconic Red Hill restaurant location come to life once more, with the venue now a hot spot of the Canberra dining scene.

The restoration required meticulous planning and collaboration to include two new restaurants in the existing building.

It included upgrading of critical infrastructure within a nature reserve to increase the electrical supply to the building, structural modification to suit the new internal fit-outs & enhancement of the existing façade to bring life back into the building.

With a range of high-end finishes being installed, the attention to detail by the project team was impeccable.

Winners are set to be announced at the annual Master Builders and Asset Construction Hire Excellence Awards taking place on Friday 5 September 2025.
