Shaw Building Group is excited to share our team has now begun construction on the ACT Government's new Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) facility in Erindale

Delivered as part of the Northside Hospital Project, the purpose-built facility will provide therapy and group spaces, indoor and outdoor therapeutic areas, and a welcoming environment for young people, families and staff.

Having a purpose-built CAMHS facility in a community location like Erindale will enable services to better meet the needs of patients and families.

The new location will also offer easier access to public transport, more car parking and space to expand in the future.

The new facility also complements a new Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub set to open in Tuggeranong in late 2026.

Current CAMHS services will continue to operate from their existing location until then, ensuring ongoing access to care.

Construction is expected to be completed and scheduled to open in late 2027.
